Maintains the machining process with the cell to ensure product quality and productivity.
Operates any and all machines in assigned area as required to maintain production, and will perform deburring as required.
Uses micrometers, calipers, electronic gages and other precision measuring instruments to check parts as specified by the manufacturing procedures and quality systems control plan.
Responsible for maintaining compliance with all safety rules, and regulations for the cell and the employees assigned to the cell including lockout / tagout procedures, personal protective equipment, zero set procedures, and general safe operating procedures.
Respects cycle times and production requirements.
Responsible for 5s and Housekeeping of his or her area.
Has the responsibility and authority for quality as delegated by management.
Wear the appropriate safety equipment at all times, attend scheduled safety meetings, and conduct one’s self in a manner respectful to others, equipment, and tools.
Perform other job duties as required.
