Machining team leader
The main activity of my department is the machining of raw parts by material removal according to the plans defined by the design office. The secondary activity is the assembly of these parts with bushings or inserts.
My day-to-day role
As team leader, my day-to-day role is varied. I ensure compliance with safety regulations and the quality of the parts produced. I deal with any technical problems we encounter and manage the day-to-day running of the machine shop, series changes, adjustments, breakdowns, etc. The local management aspect is important, both with the operators and with other departments (maintenance, metrology, etc.).
my sources of motivation
As a car enthusiast, I like to think that the parts we make are just as likely to be fitted to the average car as to supercars. Participating in the development of new parts for cars that are still in development is also very rewarding.
