Aluminum COBAWHEELS^TM

Process used : COBAPRESS^TM for the disc, flow-forming for the rim, and FSW (Friction Stir Welding) to assembly the two parts.

Standard wheels: from17” to 21”

Advantages :

• Weight reduction for each wheel, thanks to:
  • Design optimization (COBAPRESS^TM)
  • FSW process allowing a cavity between disc and rim
• Improved mechanical properties for the rim better choc resistance / impact and better fatigue life
